Home School Family Camps. A fun and unique learning experience for homeschooling families

HARTLAND'S HOME SCHOOL FAMILY CAMPS HAVE BEEN PROVIDING QUALITY EDUCATION FOR HOMESCHOOLING FAMILIES FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS.

Hartland has a heart for home schooling families. That's why we've created these unique programs designed specifically for families who have chosen home schooling. We have combined fun family activities, crafts, and games, with in-depth teaching of biblical values, to create a program that is like no other. Home School Family Camps are designed to keep families together. You'll enjoy worshiping together, playing together, learning together, and growing together in a safe, positive, and uplifting environment.

Along with great messages from our main speakers, each Home School Family Camp offers outdoor education classes that include hands-on experiences that will make learning fun and memorable. Seminar leaders will present a variety of topics focusing on the wonders of God's amazing creations. Families have the opportunity to learn together in a positive, family-friendly environment and to deepen their faith in the Lord as they develop a better understanding of His character.

SPEAKER / MUSIC

Mr. J and the Kid Possible Band

Kurt Johnson and the band have been ministering to young people and families for over twenty fiver years. These "life-change events" wherein Christ is clearly proclaimed are a unique blend of great music, fun skits, Bible stories, and most importantly, family prayer and discussion times.

Tales from the Gold Mine is one of the most requested events the Mr. J Band presents. This exciting theme tells the story of Gold Mine City, an old west town that looked for treasure in all the wrong places. "Stuff" is not what happiness is made of! This classic cowboy tale helps young and old alike look carefully at where they find real treasure... the Pure Gold of God's Word!

SPEAKER

Eric Hovind

Are dinosaurs alive today? How old is the earth? What was the world like before the flood? Haven't scientists proven that the earth is billions of years old? What about carbon dating? Get the answers to these and many more intriguing questions in a fun and memorable way. Eric uses hundreds of fascinating illustrations and documented scientific facts to prove that God's Word is quite literal and it really does contain the answers to many of our most nagging questions. And, most importantly, it helps us to determine how God's Word applies to our lives today.

Erik began full-time service in the ministry of Creation Science Evangelism in 1999.

He has had the opportunity to speak over 1,500 times, traveling to five foreign countries and all fifty states presenting and debating this life-changing message about our Creator.  He lives in Pensacola, Florida with his wife, Tanya, and three children, Stephanie, Angie and Jordan.  Erik now manages Creation Science Evangelism and is committed to the mission of spreading the Gospel though the creation message.

OUTDOOR SCIENCE CLASSES

Kevan Myers

Home-educated with the Bible as his primary textbook, Kevan memorized large sections of Scripture. His dedication at age six to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature has never wavered.  His ministry experiences have taken him to homeschools, Christian schools, and public schools. He has spoken in churches, camps, jails, and on street corners. In March of 2007, he traveled to Israel, Greece, and Turkey, visiting many biblical sites and sharing his faith as he went.

Former Christian school teacher, certified character trainer, CEF teacher trainer with Christian Youth In Action, and camp speaker known for his ability to keep active five-year-olds as well as bored teenagers and skeptical adults on the edge of their seats, Kevan Myers has educated and entertained large and small audiences at Dinosaur Adventure Land and on the road for almost four years. Puns and word plays keep audiences thinking and laughing, enabling them to remember the truths discussed.
